This is the most important book anyone who wants to know what is going on with our government, big business and genetic engineering can read.
Mr. Druker puts it in language most can understand. The more you know, the better chance you have of saving yourself and your family from this this twenty first century horror.

Very important, truthful book. I found the detail of scientific reporting a bit too much, though, rather on the heavy side and more than enough to convince any rational person that we have been lied to by scientists, political figures, and media. So what else is new? It effectively debunks that claim of paid-for scientists that GMOs are safe.

Crony capitalism at its finest. Money has corrupted government and business so that the only thing that matters is personal gain. This book is another piece of evidence about the systematic destruction of the integrity of our food supply. Do yourself a favor and read this, but more importantly, vote with your purchases. Support your local organic, non-GMO farmer and protect your family from the Frankenfoods that are being foisted upon our society. Thank you, Steven Druker for providing the evidence from what we all thought anyway.

Excellent work describing the history of the way a powerful industry manage to hide the truth, scientific facts, on a risky and unsafe manipulation of genes with the one and only purpose of winning a non-existent race and establish a just-for-profit and disease spreading industry.

I've already ordered copies to loan colleagues at a federal health agency. Altered Genes is clearly an exceptionally important book for everyone involved in agriculture. BTW: If you eat, you're involved in agriculture. One minus note is Druker has left out references and recognition of earlier serious books on GMO caution. One example: Denise Caruso's "Intervention". Her prescient and still fully relevant book was a little too early to catch the GMO awareness wave as Druker's likely and deservedly will. A.G. is going to add and feed hurricane-force to the growing storm of thoughtful and scientific caution against GMO recklessness. Both books are must reads for scientists, farmers, and others who eat anything. A good GMO bibliography would have been a plus. If you care about the GMO situation and have not already clicked the order button, do a close read of the contents page. ...This book is the tsunami information and fact storm that GMO transgenic promoters have feared!

Just started reading this and so far - very good info and easy to read. You don't have to be a scientist to understand it. I sure am not a science person. Just someone who wants to understand this issue in more depth

You will never look at the Biotech industry the same after reading this book. I will leave personal opinion out of this... read it for yourself and come to your own conclusion. As for me and my house... we are going to continue to say *no* to GMO foods whenever possible!
